Comprised of 93% pure quartz crystals, these surfaces combine the very best of nature with advanced DuPont™ polymer technology to create a sophisticated surface that's as beautiful as it is durable, with brilliant colors, a unique depth of color, as well as a subtle sparkle. Taking their inspiration from the latest design and cultural trends, Zodiaq® offers an extensive palette of over 45 colors that range from soft neutral tones to intense reds, blues and whites: colors that are seldom found in natural stone. And, DuPont™ continues to add new colors to their offering, including the exclusive new DuPont™ Zodiaq® - OKITE® Collection, where dramatic movement and random veining let you step out of the mainstream and into the unconventionally natural. These nine new colors feature intricately marbled textures in rich terra cotta, deep lapis lazuli blue, intense umber brown along with several warm veined colors in a color range from rich ivory to warm chestnut. The depth of the OKITE® Collection aesthetics are both comforting and exotic at the same time.

Zodiaq® is available in two thicknesses: ¾ inch (2cm) or 11/8 inch (3cm), with Regular Slab sizes that measure 118 inches long x 52 inches wide or Large Slab (LS) sizes that measure 120 inches long x 55 inches wide. Zodiaq® is well suited for both horizontal and vertical applications, where long expanses and limited seaming is preferred. Zodiaq® surfaces are used in a variety of residential and commercial environments including healthcare, education, food service, entertainment, retail, as well as corporate and public spaces. Today, you will find Zodiaq® used in a wide range of applications including wall cladding, reception desktops, tabletops, transaction counters, food service areas, kitchen countertops, tub and shower surrounds, fireplace mantels, windowsills and door thresholds to name just a few.

Three to four times stronger than natural stone.

Zodiaq® has superior strength and durability. Because of it's high quartz content, one of the hardest minerals found in nature, Zodiaq® is three to four times stronger than most natural countertop materials. While quartz is principally responsible for the hardness and durability of Zodiaq®, the story doesn't end there. The advanced DuPont™ polymer technology used to bind the quartz crystals together provides a flexural strength that natural stone just can't match. The polymer makes Zodiaq® less brittle, less likely to be damaged during manufacturing or shipping and there is no need for reinforcing rods or to seam around sinks.

Certified for use in commercial kitchens.

Zodiaq® has a dense, smooth, nonporous surface. Food and household products such as red wine, vinegar, lemon juice, soda, mustard, ketchup, coffee, tea, nail polish and hair dyes will not stain or harm the surface, so Zodiaq® will stay looking great for many years to come. Zodiaq® will not support the growth of mold, mildew or bacteria, a distinct advantage over natural stone and it does not require any sealing, waxing or polishing. When specifying Zodiaq® for use in the food service segment, Zodiaq® is certified by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF/ANSI Standard 51) for food contact, which means that commercial kitchens can prepare food for public consumption directly on Zodiaq® surfaces. Zodiaq® is also certified as a Kosher surface.
